Ms Tawana Knows Alot about kids and their environment…. Growing Up in A Loving Working Class Family who lived in Browsville or Brownsub A Section of The City of Miami … Ms Tawana Witnessed Poverty and Struggle First Hand … In The Community…. She Herself Worked Hard As A Single Parent …. Went To College and Became A Teacher …So She Could Help Those In The Community… But There is More to This Story…
Tawana Saw How Our Kids Needed Help with Reading And Math and She Created and Founded The ABetterMe Inc Foundation A Non profit organization to Better Our Youth Educationally and Culturally …. And Then Having Lost A Few Members of Her Own Family To Gun Violence….Ms Tawana Went and Out and Can Be Found Organizing Against Gun Violence in Our Community… She Takes to The Streets to Reach Our Youth and Familes and Get Justice For Those Needing It …Like Her Nephew KING CARTER …. The Same KING CARTER …. Who Inspired Susan Bullets to Be Involved in Stopping Gun Violence.
Tawana Also Created Community Collaboration Exchange An Organization aimed at Assisting and Working In Collaboration with other organizations to Have Clean Safe Neighborhoods Where people can have A Better Quality of Life ….
